Well, Dad finally got taken back to surgery at 12:30pm and it was over 2 hours later that he actually got his anesthesia. Poor Dad!! We were waiting and waiting forever before they even told us that they had not started yet!! Thanks St. Bernards.
We got some not so great news. The volume study showed that his prostate was too small for the seed implants. So next step is to choose another treatment option. We were a little frustrated b/c originally the oncologist said Dad was too small, but the urologist said he felt like it was easier when IT'S small. However, once he got in there...it was small.

Sorry for his frustrating day, Heather, and the end result of having to choose another treatment option. We'll just pray that the doctors figure out the perfect treatment for your Dad.
