I am always afraid of the sand box every year. I am afraid of the neighborhood cat dropping by..literally, I am afraid of spiders hiding under their toys, I am afraid of sand mites, I am afraid of germs lurching in the sand castle that is still halfway standing even though it rained, and we left the lid off. The thing i dislike most is having to give my kids a bath every single night, if they play in the sandbox. This year the playsand that i got has rocks in it, so it is even more a danger zone when thrown at each other.
The only thing i like about the sandbox, is that it will and can entertain them for a very long time, and of course it makes cute pictures.
